We’re sharing the story of a remarkable mother — a single mom raising two high-school-going children while working as a support teacher. Every day, she pours her energy into helping others learn, grow, and succeed, all while quietly managing the responsibilities of her own household.

Life on a limited income means careful planning and constant prioritising. Like many parents in similar circumstances, she has made sacrifices, stretched every rand, and done her best to keep everything on track for her children.

The school recognised her situation and granted a fee exemption after carefully reviewing her circumstances. Even so, an outstanding balance of just under R4,900 remains — an amount that has lingered longer than intended and now weighs heavily as her youngest has entered high school.

She is not asking for extras.
She is simply hoping to settle this account, draw a line under the past, and continue focusing on what matters most: her children’s education and stability.
