Chad & Ronshay Accident

Our Story

💔 AN AFTERNOON THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING 💔

On Friday late afternoon, 9 January 2026, Chad Hans and Ronshay Sambaba left home like any other day.

They never imagined they would end the night fighting for their lives.

A serious motor vehicle accident at the intersection of the R27 and Big Bay Boulevard at Table Bay Mall has left both of them hospitalized in a local government hospital with severe injuries. Ronshay underwent emergency surgery on Saturday night, 10 January, and both are facing a long, painful road to recovery.

Broken hips.

Broken ribs.

A broken pelvis.

Internal injuries.

And lives suddenly placed on pause.

As if the trauma and fear weren’t enough, the family is now facing urgent, unplanned costs that simply cannot wait:

🚨 R4,000 tow truck fee

🚗 The vehicle is completely written off

🏥 Daily travel expenses from Atlantis to the New Somerset Hospital, Greenpoint.

🧳 Essential personal items for hospital stays—none of which were budgeted for

This is not a family asking for luxury.

They are asking for breathing room while they try to survive the aftermath of tragedy.

🙏 We are also asking for your prayers.

For healing.

For strength.

For courage through the pain that no one prepares you for.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to the Government Emergency Services, Disaster Risk Management, Community Medics, Law Enforcement, and every responder who acted swiftly and compassionately that night. Your presence mattered.

🤍 Now the family needs us.

If you can give—even a small amount—you are helping to:

Settle the urgent towing account

Ease the crushing travel costs

Allow this family to focus on healing, not bills

For full transparency, all donations are managed through GivePulse Live, ensuring accountability and clear reporting of funds received and used.

Please give if you can.

Please share if you can’t.

Please pray—always.

Because no one should walk this road alone.

🕊️ Together, we can help Chad and Ronshay get through this.
