🌟 Antonio April’s Brave Journey 🌟

In 2013, at only 12 years old, *Antonio April’s world changed forever* when he was diagnosed with *Astrocytoma* – a rare tumor that grows in the brain and spine.

It all started with symptoms that no parent wants to see in their child. Antonio began feeling weak, often vomiting, and later suffered seizures. When his mother rushed him to the doctor, they first thought his salt and magnesium levels were too low – but sadly, the real reason was far more serious. Tests revealed a brain tumor.💔

A biopsy was done, and by 2013 Antonio began chemotherapy. *For seven long years*, Antonio bravely endured chemotherapy treatment. Just eight weeks ago, he completed six weeks of radiation therapy. But only a week later, his health took a turn for the worse. His sodium and magnesium levels dropped dangerously low, causing severe seizures that landed him in ICU. He remained in hospital for two months fighting for his life.

Today, Antonio is finally back home with his family. However, the journey remains incredibly hard. The tumor has now spread to his spine. Radiation has slowed its growth, but the tumors still sit in his brain. As a result, Antonio is now in a wheelchair and uses nappies because of the seizures. His development and moods have also been deeply affected.

Through it all, Antonio continues to fight with courage that inspires everyone around him. His family is grateful for every breath he takes, every smile he gives, and every moment they get to share with him.
